George Clinton channels his inner Basquiat...

Funkadelic fans should take note of a rare show original art by OG funk god/legendary crackhead GEORGE CLINTON and one of Parliament's most memorable artists, OVERTON LOYD, happening this week at LA's MELT GALLERY. Opening this Thursday, "The Sonic Entrance" focuses on music-based artwork by such additional artists as Brent Rollins and Hideki Nakajima, but it's the Detroit funk that's the real draw here. That, and the swirling rumor that both George and Overton will make personal appearances at the show. The venue's back parking lot has already been cleared to make room for the mothership's landing...
