A tight-knit group of modern masters including KAWS, DASH SNOW, MICHAEL BEVILACQUA, DAN COLEN, FAILE, NOEL HENNESSEY, HOUSTON, BRAD KAHLHAMER, WES LANG, JEREMIAH MADDOCK, BRIAN MONTUORI, and BRUCE RICHARDS took a fresh look at the history of tattooing when the “Tattoo Flash” group show opened at the venerated SAVED TATTOO on Saturday, September 15th. Owned and operated by Supertouch’s own SCOTT CAMPBELL, the shop played host to the show of art inspired by the visual legacy of tattoo flash and its rich lexicon of coded imagery and sacred icons, giving visually addicted hipsters a shot at owning original artwork by an increasingly untouchable group of their “A-List” peers.
