Supertouch blogger ERIC WHITE checks in from NYC to extol the virtues of painting virtuoso JULIE HEFFERNAN, whose stunning new solo show of large-scale work, "Booty," just opened at PPOW GALLERY.  Working in oils with impeccable old master technique, the Brooklyn-based painter renders impossibly lifelike portraits of women that are both gorgeous and grotesque in their baroque decoration and vivid detail.
