SF///TIFFANY BOZIC’S WILD KINGDOM…
In a case of art literally imitating life, one of our favorite painters, TIFFANY BOZIC, has been tapped by San Francisco’s CALIFORNIA ACADEMY OF SCIENCES to visually interpret the institution’s vast marine invertebrate collection as part of their new “From the Depths†exhibit of deep sea life forms that includes live organisms and fossilized relics. The culmination of an unlikely yearlong collaboration between artist and institution, Bozic’s resulting large-scale paintings are dazzling in their detail and sophisticated composition. Few artists paint with the technical command that Tiffany has so readily on tap, and her eye for color and detail is that of a master. On top of that, we just love the idea of fine art displayed in a natural history museum. HAVE A LOOK:
