One of the more offbeat experiences of last week's ART BASEL fiasco was "As Long As It Lasts," a pop-up tattoo parlor in Miami's burgeoning Design District featuring "limited edition" tattoo designs by KAWS, JUERGEN MEYER H., VITO ACCONCI, TORD BOONTJE and ANDREW ALLENSON, 5.5 DESIGNERS, YVES BEHAR, HELLA JONGERIUS, and LAWRENCE WEINER. Organized as an exercise in performance art and literal branding by cultural provocateurs TOBIAS WONG, JOSEE LEPAGE, and ARIC CHEN, the exercise drew a slew of eager "collectors," including KAWS fanatic RONNIE K. PIROVINO, whose 7" tall green Chum tatt can be seen here. The best part? Every tattoo came with a certificate of authenticity...
