Supertouch buddy and curator-at-large AARON ROSE brought a paired-down selection of artists from his BEAUTIFUL LOSERS crew including Barry McGee, Ryan McGinley, Clare Rojas, Raymond Pettibon, Mike Mills, Ed Templeton, Ari Marcopoulos, Phil Frost, Deanna Templeton, and Matt Leines to Milan, Italy last week for the opening of the romantically-titled group show "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue," at the city's vanguard PRIMO MARELLA GALLERY. Rose's own art noise quartet, THE SADS performed live at the opening where members of Milan's streetwise cultural elite mingled with Italian illuminati in celebration of a rag tag group of American lowlifes.
