It was a long wait to get that word on there...

BARACK OBAMA fans everywhere are still bathing in the afterglow of what seemed like an impossible victory last week for the man from Chicago. Outpourings of joy and support have been incredibly vocal, coast-to-coast, as the enormity of the accomplishment sets in. It’s a fact not lost on Obama's campaign artist SHEPARD FAIREY, who has just created the two celebratory prints incorporating his celebrated Obama portrait art shown here. Printed in conjunction with MoveOn.org, the 24" x 36" prints are available now in a limited edition of 5,000, (both signed and unsigned) and can be purchased by clicking HERE. Meanwhile, as the rest of the news media was celebrating the enormity of Obama's achievement, CBS NEWS took time out to interview the man behind the campaign artwork that proved an iconic image for the ultimate candidate of political change. We're expecting Shepard's appointment to the position of "First Artist" any day now...

In other OBAMA news, the first internet-savvy president elect has created a new website, Change.gov, to keep the public abreast of his day-to-day. We were expecting a twitter account, but it seems we'll just have to wait.
