Supertouch buddy JR is currently posted up in the heart of Times Square with his mobile photo truck creating his largest street art project ever, "Inside Out New York City." An extension of his "Inside Out" project which launched after he won the TED Prize in 2011, the Times Square project sees the artist capturing photos of passers-by, printing large scale black and white images of them instantly on the spot and then pasting them on the ground in Duffy Square to create a giant mosaic of local faces. In honor of the recent victims of Hurricane Sandy, the first round of photos installed were of residents of the affected areas in New Jersey captured by JR the previous week with the mobile truck. The project remains in effect in Times Square through May 10, don't miss it.
