To complement his current show of twisted Snow White-themed sculptures at Hauser & Wirth in NYC, Paul McCarthy unveiled a huge new public sculpture of the fairytale princess on the West Side Highway last week titled "Sisters." Always one to outdo himself, somehow McCarthy managed to make this 20-foot tall, 40-foot wide bronze cast even more twisted than the psychedelic lot of melting black walnut sculptures on display on 18th street. Rarely is public art this bizarre, compelling, and frighteningly beautiful and once again McCarthy proves why he's one of the most invigorating presences in the art world today. Don't miss it...
