STREET LIFE: JR DOMINATES TIMES SQUARE WITH NEW BILLBOARD
As the crowning finish to his recent Inside Out NYC project that covered Times Square with images of everyday New Yorkers, French social activist street artist JR took over a prime billboard in the center of Manhattan’s neon circus yesterday. The giant black & white eye in the sky sits atop a building already fully wrapped in JR’s imagery, making his domination of midtown complete.
