Inside sources (who by this point are probably no longer "inside") have leaked images of the new Stormtrooper helmets appearing in the forthcoming J.J. Abrams-helmed Star Wars Episode VII film. Set 30 years after Return of the Jedi, these helmets clearly demonstrate the logical evolution in form from the classic helmets of the original trilogy and are said to be closely modeled on original concept sketches by legendary Star Wars concept artist Ralph McQuarrie. They also hint at the return to original production design beauty Abrams is seeking to return to the franchise after the disastrous last three installments. Of course, in a perfect world, Episode VII would kick off with an army of these new-tech troopers blasting Jar Jar Binks, but in the end, dreams are just that.
