Style | KAWS Returns to Streetwear with Uniqlo in April

It’s been years since artist & Supertouch buddy KAWS (aka: Brian Donnelley) retired his Medicom-produced clothing line Original Fake, but now, in his new position as Creative Director for Japanese clothing brand Uniqlo‘s T-Shirt line, Bathing Ape founder Nigo has—to paraphrase the Godfather—”pulled him back in” for an extensive collection that will debut in stores & online in the US and Japan on April 22. Unlike his former streetwear offerings that started around the $100 range, Uniqlo’s tees will reportedly be priced at a rock-bottom $20 USD, a fraction of Original Fake or Bape collab prices. Expect Supreme-style lines around the block and a crashed Uniqlo.com come D-Day…
