Cantor Gallery’s New Artmojis are the Antidote to Kimojis

Now that emojis have taken over our communication and threaten to replace the written word entirely within a generation, it’s about time the art world got some proper representation. Luckily, LA’s Cantor Gallery has come to the rescue with their new series of digital portraits depicting the legends of fine art in emoji form, from Warhol and Basquiat to Dali and Kusama. Unfortunately, the icons have yet to become available in app form, but we can only hope the gallery will be releasing a proper Artmoji keyboard soon…
