German automaker BMW has long staked its brand on the design principles of elegance and fluidity, but under the helm of Turkish designer Mehmet Doruk Erdem its turning towards the dark side. Two new concept motorcycles unveiled by BMW, aptly named the Titan & the Radical, showcase Erdam’s distinctly futuristic vision for the brand which seems to be gearing up to produce vehicles for the Batcave rather than suburban garages in the near future. Inspired by sharks (the Titan) and Mad Max (the Radical), both cycles feature extreme riding positions, extensive aerodynamic body armor, encased wheels, and enough attitude to inspire that SUV to get out of your way in the fast lane. No word yet on production plans for the pair, but we’d like to know where to send our deposit.
