Streets | Logan Hicks Captures The Streets Of NYC In New Houston & Bowery Mural

The mural at Houston & Bowery inaugurated by Keith Haring back in the 80s has been one of the NYC’s longest-running and best loved street art projects, hosting work by legendary artists Os Gemeos, Shepard Fairey, and Futura, to name a few. This  week, Brooklyn-based artist Logan Hicks added his chapter to the wall’s legacy when he wrapped up his epic new painting depicting an incredibly detailed NYC street scene featuring important people from the artist’s personal life. It’s been quite a journey to complete the arduous stencil piece as a massive rainstorm wrecked his half-finished work earlier this month, forcing the artist to nearly start again from scratch:
