Ladykillers Inc: Joe Coleman, Eric White, and Special Agent Lance Armstrong

It was genius art star TOM SACHS‘ nite to shine on Thursday in NYC when his “Animals” show opened at the prestigious SPERONE WESTWATER GALLERY where Supertouch’s own ERIC WHITE, JOE COLEMAN & WHINEY WARD, and LANCE ARMSTRONG were out to support Tommy Boy in full effect. Following Sachs’ awe-inspiring Sperone installation, he managed to knock the remaining and otherwise composed onlookers jaws to the floor with a second late-nite opening at LEVER HOUSE where his monumental new bronze Hello Kitty sculptures (formed and painted to resemble foam core constructions) were unveiled. Raw power indeed. Hands-down, Tom Sachs is one of the most brilliant and visionary minds of his generation, a fact made more clear with each successive show of pure force.
